Steel Outfitting Engineer

As Steel Outfitting Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating the outsourced detailed engineering of steel outfitting components, including stairs, ladders, and foundations. Your focus will be on ensuring that all engineering deliverables fully comply with specifications, regulations, and stakeholder requirements. 

You will be the main technical point of contact between the company and its sister company. In this role, you will provide clear technical instructions, support design decisions, and review the quality of 3D models and engineering documentation. 

Specific duties in this role include:

• Coordinating the outsourced detailed engineering of steel outfitting, including stairs, ladders, and foundations.
• Providing clear technical input, specifications, and guidance to ensure compliant and high-quality engineering output.
• Reviewing engineering models and deliverables for quality, accuracy, and compliance with requirements.
• Working closely with multiple engineering disciplines to achieve well-integrated technical solutions.

• Education in an engineering related discipline. 
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in steel outfitting engineering.
• Strong experience with 3D CAD systems such as SolidWorks or 3DExperience (CATIA).
• Solid understanding of engineering standards, regulations, and best practices related to steel outfitting.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to quality and detail, with the ability to work independently.
